Hi Gintoxic. what was the final outcome of the repair ? My C4 Grand Picasso displayed "gearbox faulty" last week setting the car into NEUTRAL as it dropped out of gear. Intermittently it would drive (so logic said that something else was causing the box not to drive not the box itself). Joined: Apr 29 2010. Location: england. ok update on the problem the car is in the dealer they have found the problem. The EGS actuator has gone wrong. Big problem a new one is £1300 I'm trying to see if Citroen will help with the cost of this as the car is only 4 yeas old with less than 70,000 miles on it. Alec, before launching into a clutch job, try an extra earth lead (jumper) between the gearbox case and the body or battery -ve. If it comes good, suspect an earth under the battery tray and also on the gearbox.
